TEDxPasadena is produced by a volunteer team of local TED enthusiasts, each attracted to the concept of "Ideas Worth Sharing" and generously giving of their time, energy and professional expertise to bring the event to fruition.

Greg Apodaca (CEO/Organizer) is an entrepreneur and community change agent with interests in the non-profit and for profit sectors. He is a partner in MountainTop Strategies, a transformational leadership consultancy, he is Director of the non-profit Community Without Walls, and is now laying plans to launch the Center for Thriving, Contribution and Sustainability. Greg's life work is to help people realize more of their full potential and to create communities where people can pursue and develop that potential together and for individual and mutual benefit. Grace Garcia (Workplan) is a recent graduate of Leadership Pasadena where that experience sparked a greater passion for service. Grace is a volunteer with the local nonprofit Young & Healthy that provides free medical services to uninsured and underinsured children within the Pasadena Unified School District. Grace is a staff member with the prosecution division of the Pasadena City Attorney’s Office.
Raoul Pascual (Web Master) is an artist, programmer and entrepreneur who has a heart for non-profits and other organizations that help make the community a better place. He runs WYNK Marketing, a one-stop shop that helps entrepreneurs market to the 21st century."Money isn't my true motivation for my business" says Raoul, "it's the freedom to think outside the proverbial box to create something beautiful, functional and practical." Gerry Ornelas (Speaker Recruitment and Management). In Gerry's own words:
"I am most passionate about living my vision by actively contributing to the world. Not just thinking about my vision or reporting about it, but living it. I have brought myself to the edges of what I thought was possible, and that's the kind of participation that makes my life alive and passionate." Gerry is a former Marine, police officer, licensed retirement planner, and practitioner in Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP). Gerry has learned to put numerous concepts and theories into practice in his life, and has made quantum leaps that he would only have wished for before.
Itza Aguilar : Itza is lining up the performers for this event. She is a Management and Production professional involved in both the food and entertainment industries. Dr. Diana Fisher (helping edit the website content and scheduling poetry performances) is the executive director of the Collective Voices Foundation, a non-profit organization that creates, supports, and sustains innovative and collaborative educational programs for under-resourced youth. Katherine Walters : Kate is the founder of Kate Consulting, a Pasadena-based company that develops staff trainings and youth development programs to clients in the public, private, and non-profit sectors. Renante Medina is a firefighter/paramedic within the Greater Los Angeles area. He has dedicated most of his life in the service of others. Valuing higher education he is pursuing a degree in business. His current passions are involvement with his faith community, personal development and wellness associated with proper nutrition.
Patricia Escorza-Jaime has been married to Gerardo Jaime for 23 years and they have four fun-filled children in all stages of life! Patricia has been a resident of Pasadena since 1994 and loves all that Pasadena is and has to offer. She has been a Pasadena Unified School District teacher since 1999, holds a Masters Degree in Education Leadership, and is currently working with second graders at Hamilton Elementary. Their class theme this year is Love, Peace, and Happiness! Patricia is a graduate of Leadership Pasadena's Class of 2007 and is currently on the LP Board of Directors. She and her husband Gerardo are in transition within their lives and becoming 21st Century Entrepreneurs and strive to serve humanity by providing an opportunity to liberate people from disease and illness, from time constraints, and from financial hardships.
Tom HYatt is a cooperative member with aveson educational cooperative. He has been with Aveson Charter Schools since it's inception In 2007 and has been an educator for the past 11 years working with kinder students through high schoolers. He is also a published playwright.
