Explore issues of local and global community with an eye to creating a sustainable, humane future at TEDxPasadena: Creating the Future. This one-day, locally-produced TED event brings together innovative leaders with forward-thinking, like-minded individuals to explore the actions that can be taken to shape the future in our community and beyond. With informal discussion opportunities, networking possibilities and the chance to listen to some of the area's most progressive thinkers, TEDxPasadena: Creating the Future invites you to experience all the excitement and inspiration of TED Talks that are live and local. We welcome you to become part of a community that shares a vision of creating a vibrant future.

You missed our first TEDx event. Go to our Speakers page to view the videos. We will post future events on this website as soon as possible.Tentatively we are planning on a TEDx salon. Our next big event will be sometime October or November of 2012.

What is TEDx?
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxPasadena, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxPasadena event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
